One exciting aspect of APBC2022 will be a Showcase of products of plant breeding success. This will make APBC2022 stand out from other conferences, with aspects including:
- An interactive session on Monday 9th May during our Showcase Function where you can taste-test and get amongst new plant varieties
- Incorporation of new plant products into meals throughout the conference, including at the conference dinner
- A meat-free day to shine a light on the diversity of plant products
- A display of videos of plant breeders discussing new varieties and the impacts for growers

Confirmed items that will be on display and highlighted in our menus during the conference and on Monday afternoon during the Showcase Poster event, include:

- Jackfruit
- Papaya
- Snack cucumbers
- Specialty lettuce
- Cauliflower
- Peanuts
- Beef fed on Leucaena
- Rice
- Tofu
